Raquel is a feminine filly with correct conformation and movement.

She is currently in foal to the 16.3hh Dutch stallion Farrington for a June 2009 foal. Based on Raquel's 60 day ultrasound check, Raquel's 2009 foal is believed to be a filly ... we will be keeping our fingers crossed that the technician is correct :-) Farrington has a high dressage Index of 129 (2007). During his stallion test he received excellent marks (Walk 8.5, Trot 8, Canter 8, Character 9). Farrington never competed in sport do to a fractured leg, but was awarded the Keur Predicate by the KWPN in 2002 for the excellent offspring he has produced. Farrington carries the famous Doruto bloodlines (producer of top dressage horses such as Olympic Barbria, Chevalier and Ideaal). Farrington's sire is Wellington who is also known for producing great movers (like Ceylon and Luxaflex).

Raquel's SIRE is Regardez, a 16.3hh Hanoverian imported from Germany in December 2002.

Regardez brings to Canada the legendary bloodlines of Rubinstein, Werther and Fruehling.

Regardez's sire, Regazzoni, by Rubinstein, was Reserve Champion Young Riding Horse of Germany in 1995 and won the title of the Best five year old Dressage Horse in 1996. Besides being heavily in demand as a breeding stallion, Regazzoni is also currently competing at FEI Level Intermediare.the

Regardez's dam, Fernet by Fruehlingsball, just as his sire Regazzoini, goes back to one of the most successful mare lines in history, producing the Olympic Dressage Horses: Rembrandt (video) , Ahlerich, and Amon.

Raquel's DAM is Steelbars Monique, a 1st premium mare with good movement and a beautiful uphill canter. In 2008, Monique was named Regional Reserve Champion Mare with the CWHBA.

Monique descends from such greats as Olympic Ahorn (An international jumping legend with the Dutch Team) & Nimmerdor (Elected in 2000 as "Stallion of the 20th Century" in the Netherlands. Nimmerdor was 4th in the 2004-2005 KWPN Jumping Index).

Monique has produced several foals to on line at CWHBA inspections including Sierra (1st place futurity winner & Grand Champion Young Horse in 2007), Foxy Cleopatra (4th place in 2006) & Ulyssa (2nd place in 2003),
