Monarco is sired by the Grand Prix jumper Padarco, who finished 9th at the 2000 World Cup in Las Vegas. Padarco is by the great Darco. Darco came in 7th at the Barcelona Olympics for show jumping. |

Monarco's dam goes back to Patrick (international level jumper), Olympic Ahorn (An international jumping legend with the Dutch Team) & Nimmerdor (Elected in 2000 as "Stallion of the 20th Century" in the Netherlands. Nimmerdor was 4th in the 2004-2005 KWPN Jumping Index. Nimmerdor was invited to the 1984 Olympic games for jumping, but the owners felt it was more important that he take care of breeding obligations). |
