Dominique is a very sweet filly who loves attention.  She is super smart and very bold.   At only 3 weeks of age she leads easily and loves to explore new things in hand and loads in the trail like a pro.  She picks up her feet easily and could care less about having clippers on her body.  She also loves to play with balls! 

Dominique has correct conformation and is fancy with her four white socks and a blaze.  So far she looks a lot like her sire Chico's Boy.  We can't wait to see how she turns out :-)

Dominique is line bred to Sillbersee (shortlisted for the 1988 Seoul Olympics) and Cor de la Bryere.

Bloodlines:

We haven't decided yet, but Dominique will either be registered Holsteiner or Canadian Warmblood.

 

Dominique's SIRE is Chico's Boy  Chico's Boy (who currently resides in Germany) was Champion Stallion of the 2002 Holstein approval, best stallion at the 30 day test in Schliechau 2003, taking the top position not only in dressage (8.88) but in jumping as well (9.34)!  With such double talent it was no surprise that he qualified for the Bundeschampionat in Warendorf.  He is producing excellent offspring in Europe, bringing highest prices at all of the foal auctions in Germany and Switzerland, including the most expensive colt at the Spring Auction in Vechta as well as a foal at the Swiss Elite Foal Auction in Frauenfeld that sold for 22,000 CHF and the 40,000 Euro price record at Gestut Sprehe's 2005 Elite Auction called Champagner.

Dominque's DAM is Sierra Springs Sierra is a lovely Canadian Warmblood mare.  As a foal, she was the 1st place futurity winner and Grand Champion Young Horse with the Canadian Warmblood Horse Breeders Association.    Sierra enjoys jumping.     Sierra's carries such bloodlines as Silbersee (international show jumper who was short listed for the 1988 Seoul Olympics [Silbersee Video]) and Cor de la Bryere (who has produced top performance horses in all three disciplines: dressage, eventing, and showjumping [Cor de la Bryere Video]).   Olympic Ahorn (An international jumping legend with the Dutch Team) & Nimmerdor (Elected in 2000 as "Stallion of the 20th Century" in the Netherlands.  Nimmerdor was 4th in the 2004-2005 KWPN Jumping Index).
